The Art Information Center houses a broad array of art-related books, pictorial records of exhibitions, and magazines. These materials are made up of those collected since the museum's opening in April 2002, and those taken over from the collection of the museum's predecessor: the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Modern Art. They also include art-related books from Japan and around the world purchased in fiscal year 2001 in preparation for the opening of the new Museum of Art.
