This is a building for national agencies. Kobe Local Meteorological Observatory
It observes weather and earthquakes at all times and provides Hyogo's daily weather forecasts, warnings and advisories to disaster-related institutions, local governments, and mass-media, thereby contributing to disaster risk reduction and damage mitigation, as well as improving the convenience of the residents and environmental conservation.
