Hyogo Institute for Traumatic Stress


 Hyogo Institute for Traumatic Stress
Established as Japan’s first base facility for emotional care for those who suffer trauma (psychological trauma) or PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) as a result of disasters or accidents. In addition to carrying out research, trainings, information sharing, promotional activities, counseling and consultations, it also works on human resources development based on the principle of “Human Care.” It contains the Hyogo Mental Health and Welfare Center (Phone: 078-252-4980) that serves as a technological core institution regarding mental health and welfare.
