This exhibition is in memory of Yuki Ogura (1895-2000), an artist of Japanese-style painting, for the 10th anniversary of her death.
She painted mostly still-lives and figures of her family or friends, all expressed with a variety of colors and dynamic form. There are paintings from early in her career until the end of her career, roughly eighty years from the Meiji period to the Heisei period. There are about eighty pieces in all.
